I contacted lg after my air conditioner would not put out cold air after only using it about 4 times last season I provided all information they told me someone would contact me and bring a new on and dispose of the old one well some told me why would you want a new one if it broke so quick well I thought about it and said gee he is right so I contacted lg for a refund instead they said fine well my son comes in and says ma an lg air conditioner is on the porch well I got so made now I am stuck with a not so good air conditioner and I need to dispose of the first one not such a good company I will never buy from them again and w

Its never gets cold

I bought it a month ago so excited because I live in New Mexico where it gets pretty hot here. Although immediately it felt cool but when I used it the first night it was blowing out hot air on energy saver. So the next night I just put in on cool and still hot fan air comes out for hours. It only works cold some nights and I decided to give it a month but its very hit and miss with it getting cold. After all that now Ive noticed that theres a popping sound.

This ac unit is perfect for the space we are cooling. It is approx 300 sq feet and this unit does an adequate job of cooling it. It is pretty quiet unless youre running the fan on highest setting. Then it is noticeable but still acceptable. I have never had a window ac unit with a remote control until I bought this one. Its so much more convenient This remote is simple to use and gives full control of the unit from at least 20 feet away. Im very happy with this ac unit and hope to get many years of service out of it. If I run into any problems Ill update this review.

It provides cooling for my office and its quiet and runs unobtrusively in the background. I love the Energy Efficient setting and the fact that it has three fan settings. It cools my office and the hallway that leads to it very nicely using the lowest fan setting. Its a little pricey but I bought it believing it would be of high quality and I am not disappointed.

Another LG A/C window unit added to my house to go along with the 15000 BTU that has worked flawlessly for 12 years. I have central air conditioning thats very new but have found in this 100+ degree weather it runs constantly. I replaced a window unit that was installed in 2019 which was very loud and with my having hearing aids it became so annoying It also was not doing a very good job of conditioning the air and the controls did not work properly. This window 8000btu unit LW8016ER is very quiet and removed the problem I was having with the irritable noice I heard. Also the controls are much more functional and has a few more settings the other unit did not have. Because of the room size I probably was on the edge of needing a 10000 btu but had to select the 8000btu size because of the window size with only a few inches left on each side. With a little bit more effort it went in very nicely and conditions the air to my satisfaction. Needless to say Im happy with this unit.

Enjoying my cool air in this Florida heat

Bought this a couple weeks ago and really like it. Its less noisy than the old one has and energy saver mode witch keeps the room at the temp you set and cycles every 5 minutes or so. Trifecta Inexpensive Cooling

This is our third unit for the house including one in our garage The AC window units are super easy to install and do a great job at cooling the spaces/house LG does a great job of making great products. I would recommend anyone interested in AC wiindow units seriously consider LG.

Best Feature: How Quiet it runs.

I bought first LG AC 10 yrs. ago for living room. Actually love that model LW8011ER more than this one LW8016ER. When you turn this one on it automatically goes to the Energy Saver setting which I never use since I cannot get to sleep with the periodic on and off of the AC. Also not enough louver on either side since we need to install in window more towards right to avoid the AC from hitting a piece of furniture blocking the vent. Therefore not getting full volume of the fan output since left side of AC vent is blowing right into side edge of the furniture.

Great Unit for the price. Cools a good size room

Bought this window for a finished attic space. Very efficient with the energy saving feature. Cools the room quickly. Unit runs very quietly as well.

Not real happy with it.

I dont like when you start it up it automatically switches to energy saver mode. Thats when the room is the hottest. Theres no clock to set a start and stop time like on other AC units I have. Dry Function doesnt run except for a few minutes. I put it in energy saver mode and it ran and switched off once and stayed off. The remote doesnt have many features on it like my other non-LG models.

Quietly Efficient

Our previous air conditioner was only 2 years old but it was loud and unable to keep our bedroom cool overnight. We bought this one and have slept quietly and comfortably for the past two months. We are very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I couldnt believe how strong powerful this AC was once assembled. I was at first worried before purchasing it online that it would most likely need to be returned but if anything... I cant get enough of how this machine helps so much w the complete temperature in my room that often becomes really hot/warm in. No regrets purchasing
