These are great AC units and the smart home features are great Mobile app allows you to set schedules and turn on/off the units while away from home. Works great with Google assistant. My only complaint is the noises it makes while on silent/sleep mode - because the fan is so low you can hear a weird whooshing noise presumably created by the compressor. Its not terribly loud but because its not a consistent white noise its a bit annoying when trying to sleep.

LG needs to add the option to turn off the annoying beep that this AC makes every time you do something. LG also needs to make the sleep mode fan speed available without sleep mode. Sleep mode is annoying when you just want the AC at its quietest without having to lower the set temperature since the sleep mode raises it incrementally.

Bought this unit about 3 weeks ago. It is super quiet and the hum is actually similar to the white noise generator I sleep with anyway so it works out well. I also like the digital thermostat and wifi enabled features so I can monitor it from my phone anywhere. I am hoping to save some money on energy with the dual-inverter design along with using the energy save mode and it takes some of the load off the unit on the other side of my condo as a supplemental/backup AC unit.

After turning on it does absolutely nothing for about 2 minutes. Then it sounds like its dying for another 2 minutes. Then it sounds not as bad and blows cold air. Keeps a large room cold but i prolly wouldnt buy this again. Quality from LG isnt what it used to be in my opinion.

Got this window unit to keep my room cool enough for my chinchillas over the summer months. It runs fairly quite and the ability to turn off the LED indicators is great for sleep. Only wish there was a step in-between this unit and the next BTU up.

Purchased a few months ago and just recently installed it in the master bedroom. This is the 2nd unit Ive bought. The 1st was a larger BTU unit which I was very impressed with. The quiet operation and efficient power save function are great features. I am also impressed by the additional insulation bolsters for the side gap panels. They are included in the installation package and in my opinion are such an impressive addition that I wonder why all manufacturers dont include such a thing.
